Death Notice from Kingston Daily Freeman, June 15, 1929 Jane A. Irwin, widow of Jacob Griffin, died at her home in Accord Monday, June 10, after a long illness. She was born June 11, 1854, at Lackawack, the daughter of Cornelius and Phoeba [sic] Atkins Irwin. Mrs. Griffin had lived in the town of Rochester for many years. She is survived by one sister, Sarah Hornbeck of Accord, and three brothers, William and Abraham of Montela, and Eugene Irwin of New Paltz. Funeral services were held Thursday from the Accord M. E. Church. Interment was in Benton Bar cemetery at Kyserike.
Matters Before The Surrogate Hattie J. McDonald, niece, and Jessie C. Irvin, nephew, are legatees in $3,000 each and devisees In $250 each of the estate of Jane A. Griffin, Alligerville, whose will has been admitted to probate in surrogate's court. Letters testamentary have been issued to Jesse C. Irwin who is named as executor. The testator died June 10, 1929, and the will was executed April 25, 1921. Value of estate is $500 real; $7,250 personal, Abram, William and Eugene Irwin, brothers, are legatees in $300 each, as Is a sister, Sarah Hoornbeck. Raymond G. Cox attorney for the petitioner.
