Note on 1900 census says 9 children, 3 living. Obituary from the Ellenville Journal, Jan 17, 1929: Hannah M. Baker Funeral services for Mrs. Hannah M. Baker, who died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Byron Schoonmaker, at Scotchtown, were held Monday afternoon at Bloomingburg. Burial was in Bloomingburg Rural Cemetery. Mrs. Baker had been ill a short time with pneumonia. She was eighty years old and was born in Wurtsboro, August 1, 1848, a daughter of C. B. Irwin and Phoebe Atkins Irwin, long time residents of Napanoch. She married Oscar J. Baker July 21, 1866. He died November 26, 1922. Mrs. Baker is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Clarence Clark, of Port Chester and Mrs. Schoonmaker; twelve grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and two sisters and three brothers: Mrs. Jane A. Griffin and Mrs. Katherine Hornbeck, both of Accord; William H. Irwin and Abraham Irwin, of Montelance [Montela]; Eugene Irwin of New Paltz. References
