1916 City Directory shows James A. electrician for Railroad living at 1415 Fairmount Ave. 1920 US Census 145 Fairmount Ave., Kane Township, Council Bluffs, IA ED 149, Vol. 69, Sheet 7, Line 5 Liisted with wife Adelaide, daughter Ethel Thornberg (widowed), son Charles, and four who appear to be Ethel's children--Claud (13), John A. (6), Adelaide (30), Royal (2)--all Thornbergs.

According to the Milford Streeter genealogy of the Descendant of Stephen and Ursula Streeter, James Albert Streeter was the son of George Paris Streeter. George was killed in the Civil War at Falls Church, VA. His wife was Adelia Delanah. They md. in RI 1 May 1856. Also had a daughter Estella M. b. 1859. In 1880 James, wife Adelaide and their son Albert were living in Center, Mitchell, KS. In 1900 they were living in Lincoln, Lancaster, NE.
