Facts and Events
James Henry was a farm laborer. In the 1900 census he had been married for 16 years, with 7 of 8 children still living. The 1910 census has him called Henry J., age 48, married 26 years to Angelia. They lived next door to his brother, Bing and his wife. In the 1920 census, he's listed again as Henry J. and has 3 kids at home with Angelia. They rented the house. By the 1930 census, Henry (68) lives with his wife Angelia (60) and son Willard (24) who is single. Granddaughter, Freda Harris (9) lives with them. Henry works his own farm with his son Willard. On his death certificate a friend states his mother's name was Jennie. (It was Jane.) James Henry was widowed by then, Angelia having passed away a few months earlier.
