William was a master mechanic in the steel industry and lived with his wife Lucy in Wierston, WV. They married 10 Aug 1951 in Brooke, WV. He was a vet of WWI.

Wiliam died of cancer of the stomach, having suffered for 1 1/2 years. His son provided the info for his death certificate. He was buried in Buckhannon Memorial Park in Buckhannon, WV.
