He is named as the first husband of Mary in her father's will, 1819 Greene Co Georgia. The date and place of his birth is from "Georgia Rev Soldiers, Sailors & Patriots" Vol I p6 pub 1977, Georgia Pioneers Pub. Albany Georgia. There are many errors in the book about this family but this info may be correct. The date they give for his wife is incorrect in that her mother could not have met and married her father in abt 1772; the mother was still living in North Carolina at that time and her father had long been in Georgia.
