M.D., Harvard Medical School, 1901. Was a specialist in orthopedic surgery from the time he was licensed in 1901. Besides his private practice, he was on the staff of the Children's Hospital, Boston, for 45 years. At Harvard he was an Instructor in Orthopedic Surgery 1916-22, Assistant Professor 1922-51, when he retired. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Surgeons, and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He has been a member of the Faculty Club of Harvard, the Harvard and Saint Botolph Clubs, both of Boston. His hobbies are gardening and refinishing furniture. He resides in Cape Neddick Maine. He married first in Belmont Mass Nov 5 1907 Elizabeth Clark Bygrave, and second, in Winchester MA July 15 1944 Josephine (Dormitzer) Abbott.
