I have a newspaper about the fire which took Jim's life in Decorah, Iowa, hotel fire in 1951. The hotel was the Commercial Hotel. Jim had moved to Decorah in 1930 and was a farm hand and janitor at St. Benedict's Church. I also have a letter from St. Benedict's that says a funeral Mass was celebrated and the grave is marked.
