Person:Anthony McGovern (1)

Anthony - born March 31, 1868. He was committed to the Northern Hospital for the insane on May 1, 1895. At the time of admission he weighed 140 pounds, was 5 feet 6 1/2 inches tall. He was transferred to the Dodge County Assylum on August 17, 1897. It is now Winnebago Mental Health Institute. He passed in 1959. When they called my mother as next of kin - she was shocked. She had never remembered anyone talking about a brother of Michael's still living with the name Anthony. He was buried in the McGovern plot in the Waterloo cemetery. I had an inscription put on the stone in 1983.
