Abstract:
James Frederick Jacobson, age 84, residing at 115 S. Hartup, born 21 July 1902 to Andrew and May (Spilman) Jacobson, died 9 Sept. 1986 in St. Francis Regional Medical Center, Wichita.
He married 13 Oct. 1934 at El Dorado, to Madge Williams. He moved to McPherson in 1959 from Roxbury. He was a retired stockman, farmer and sheriff's officer; member of the Kansas Peace Officers Association; and member of the Moose Lodge at Salina.
Survived by wife, Madge; son, James Andrew Jacobson (Marquette); daughter, Donna Richards (Baltimore, Md.); sister, Mrs. Cecil Ash (McPherson); two grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday [11 Sept. 1986] at Ball and Son Funeral Home. Funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Friday [12 Sept. 1986] at the funeral home, with Rev. William Inglish. Graveside services in Roxbury Cemetery at 11:45 a.m. Friday.
