Family History

On 16 March 1897 in McPherson co., Kansas, a license was issued for Andrew Jacobson (age 30) and May Spilman (age 28), both of Roxbury, Kansas. They were married on the same day by clergyman A.M. Barrett in the city of McPherson.[1] It was recorded in the U.S. census of 1910 that this was the first marriage for each of them.[5]
