"John S. Jackson's son James William Jackson: Per his son Lennie Fay Jackson's WORLD WAR I Draft Registration, James William Jackson was living at 504 West 3rd Street, Marysville, Union Co., Ohio in September 1918. James was still living, age 75, when 1930 census was taken, with son "Dennis" per Ancestry.com transcription, in Marysville, Union Co.,Ohio.

"From http://www.familytreedna.com/public/Newhouse/ Newhouse SurnameProject, Newhouse web site (pages 48, 49): Catherine Newhouse born January 22, 1831 Scioto Township. She was raised on the farm and educated in the common schools. She married Abner Johnson Bird August 15, 1856 in Delaware County. . . (Child of Abner and Catherine) Mary Bird was born August 3, 1857 in Wapello County, Iowa. She was educated in the common and select schools. She taught school. Mary Bird married James William Jackson on November 11, 1881, a farmer and stock raiser who was born in Fauquier County, Virginia on November 10, 1853. He was the son of John S. and Dorothy Ann Jackson. James died April 27,1946. Mary died March 21, 1929. They are both buried in the Newhouse Cemetery.

"(a) Lennie Fay Jackson was born September 19, 1882 in Union County, Ohio. He never married. Lennie died April 10, 1943. He was buried in the Newhouse Cemetery.
(b) Strother Bird Jackson was born March 19, 1889 in Champaign County, Ohio. He was educated in the common schools and graduated from the High School at Ostrander in 1908. He married Elizabeth Zimmer of Concord Township on April 20,1909. She was born 29 August 1889. He was a law student of Frank Rehbil in Dayton around 1915. He died March 15, 1970 in Dayton. Ella Richey Wells reports that Strother was married several times but had no children.
(c) James Arthur Jackson was born October 15, 1894 in Marion County, Ohio. He married Marvine Watson of Delaware February 11, 1914. She was born 29 Jun 1894. James and Marvine (sic) both died from a gas stove explosion 05 Jan 1962 in Florida. They had a daughter, Gwendolyn."
