On 17 Jan 1800 Jesse Rainey, William Dugger, Frances Rainey and James Dugger witnessed a deed from John Wilroy Mallory to Daniel Dugger. (Brunswick Co., VA Deed Book 17 page 525).

In Feb 1810 Court, Richmond Dugger and James Dugger were granted administration of the estate of Daniel Dugger (their father). (Brunswick Co., VA Order Book 23 page 293).

James Dugger was bondsman for the 10 Mar 1810 Brunswick County marriage bond of Benjamin S. (or L.) Morris and Nancy Dugger (his sister).
