Funeral rites for James Henry Coble, 64, of Route 1, Burlington, who died Saturday, were held from St Paul's Lutheran church yesterday afternoon. The Rev D I Offman, the Rev C Lee Shipton, and the Rev Q O Lyerly officiated. The church choir sang special numbers. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were Max Crouse, Robert Overman, Jack McPherson, Sidney Russell, Boyd Coble, and Sgt Robert Shoffner.

Flower bearers were Mesdames Duncan Wells, D I Offman, John Spoon, Herman Sutton, Tom Lloyd, Sidney Russell, Max Crouse, E Vance Nichlas, Silas Guthrie, Sidney Kennedy, Jack McPherson, Robert Overman, Misses Christine Isley, Pearl McPherson, Rebecca Kennedy, Frances Lloyd, Vera Crouse, Doris Lloyd, Edna Shoffner, and Carrie Mae Shoffner.
