Daily Times-News, The Monday, April 22, 1957 (copied from OCR archive and "edited" as best as possible) Mrs.. JOY AGNES COBLE SHOFFNER Mrs.. Joy Coble died this morning at 5 o'clock at her home on Route 6. She had been ill for several critically for two days. A native of Alamance she was the wife of R. S. Shoffner and the daughter of the late Augustus Coble and Letetia Graves Coble. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Surviving with her husband are four Mrs.. Baxter Thomas- Mrs.. Elmo Mrs.. Jack and Mrs.. Duncan all of Route one Robert L. SHOFFNER of Route one Mrs.. W. B. SHOFFNER of Route one Dr. L G. Coble of Greensboro and 12 grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock an St. Paul's Lutheran Church by the Rev. Pat C. assisted by Rev. Paul G. Kinney. pastor of St. Enoch's Lutheran Church of Kannapolis. Burial will be in St Paul's Cemetery. The body will be taken to the home at 4 o'clock this afternoon and will lie in state
