In the name of God, amen. Be it remembered that I James Anderson being weak in body but in perfect soundness of sense and money do constitute and appoint the following as my last will and testament. To wit: First of all I commit myself to God who gave and next my body to be buried in a Christian manner and as to my worldly substance it ___ thus;
First of all I bequeth unto my son William and my beloved wife Elizabeth, my daughter Jane, my daughter Margaret, and my daughter Elizabeth my plantations, that is two thirds to William, and one third to my wife and daughters and at the decease of my beloved wife her third to come to the aforesaid ____ girls and be it remembered that after the regulation of my affairs my son William is to pay my son John twenty pounds and as for my cattle and sheep I will and bequeth unto my wife and the above children.
And I further bequeth unto my son Thomas five shillings, to my son James five shillings, and to my daughter Agness five shillings to be paid by my son William. Be it well remembered only is my last will dissolving and revoking all others in witness of which I set my hand and seal in presence of
