    JAEL DUNCAN, b. ca. 1751, d. ca. 1816, m. Samuel Stallard, son of Walter and Elizabeth Williams Stallard, b. in St. Mark's Parish, ca. 1745, d. 1815, near Dungannon, Va. Deed Bk. K., pg. 19. Oct. 18, 1779, Samuel Stallard and Jael, his wife, of Culpeper Co. 200 A. granted by his father, Walter Stallard, by gift on Aug. 20, 1770. It is thought that Samuel and Jael went to the present Scott Co. in 1779 where they settled near Osborn's Ford. In 1814 Scott Co. was formed out of that part of Russell Co. In 1930 the Samuel Stallard farm was owned by Wm. B. Gray, whose grandfather acquired it.
