Jacob Hood, third son of John and Rachel Hood, he who had been baptized in 1722/23 in the Kingston, N. Y., Dutch Reformed Church as Jacobus Hoed, continued his residence in Frederick County until his death about 1751 or 1753. The fact of his death is confirmed by Frederick County court minutes for that period.
