Notes for Jacob Foust III: Jacob Foust III came to Ohio with his parents, perhaps in 1800, and first settled in Pickaway County. They moved to Delaware County in 1807 in a wagon pulled by a team of horses with a milk cow tied on behind. Jacob spent most of his younger years in and around Indiana with his two daughters where he married his second wife. They moved to Iowa where he died and is buried. Jacob III has six children with his first wife and three with his second.
