Thus David Ballingall came from Kilbarchan. From 1855 on David and Isabella had children at Kincardine by Doune, Perthshire. Blair Drummond belonged to the parish of Kincardine in Menteith (also called Kincardine by Doune). In 1881 David Ballingall, head, factor (b.1822 Kettle, Fife), wife Isabella (b. 1828 Falkland, Fife), children all born in Kincardine: Patrick, clerk (1862), David (1865), Jessie G. (1868), Isabella C. (1872) and 4 servants lived at Blair Drummond, Factors House, Kincardine, Perths (census).
