As of May 1829, Isaac and Keziah Wood were non-residents in Indiana.[2] They were most likely in Iowa County, Wisconsin, in the lead mining district. Both Keziah's sister Polly and her brother Jackson were there in the 1830s, and there a James Wood in Iowa County, Michigan Territory in the 1830 Census with two adult males between the ages of 30 and 40, with other household members who could have been Isaac's family. As well Isaac is apparently in the 1836 and 1838 Wisconsin Territorial Census, as well as the 1842, 1846, and 1847 Territorial Censuses.[3]
