In 1860, he is living near his wife's parents the Sparks, and two of their children. His brother John is a few doors down, and his son John.

In 1880, Uneta, Lee Ann, William and Levi are all living next door to each other in Dist. 4 (otherwise known as Board Valley), with Jesse next door to Issac himself a few doors down. In 1900, his widow is still in Dist. 4; a few doors down is his son Elijah; on the next page were Levy, Lee Ann and Uneta. Clouses and Robinsons, related by marriage, are scattered around as well.
