Facts and Events
Enumerated in the 1790 census married with no children. In the 1800 census, he has five small children, but no wife. He, his father, and his uncle went to Gwinnet Co, GA before 1820. There is only one “Isaac” entry in the 1820 census, a couple 45 plus with nine children. Valentine is enumerated separately. It’s very possible his 75 year old father was dead, but in 1830 index, there is both an Isaac and an Isaac, Jr. One of them is “headed” by a 15-20 year old, even with presence of 50-60 year old woman and several women in their 20s. The distribution matches the 1820 record. The other Isaac is a young (20-30) childless couple, perhaps a nephew (there was a marriage record in 1742 for Isaac and Letty Snead). On 10 Apr 1827, Isaac Brameloo was granted a homestead “plot page 90 No 68, Dt 2.” He is listed as a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church on 17 mar 1827, along with James, Susanna, Anna, and Syntha.
