Irma Crumrine, 87, passed away peacefully on the morning of Aug. 13, 2016.
She is survived by daughter, Peggy Davis, and granddaughters, Kimberley Whitsett Buckley of Boise, Idaho, and Jennifer Whitsett of Seattle, Wash. Irma is also survived by great-grandchildren, Hudson and Eva Lindow of Boise. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Calvin Crumrine; daughter, Charlotte Collins; and son, Francis Leo Collins.
Born Feb 10, 1929, in Scherstetten, Germany, to Martin Geislinger and Berta Theressir Rieder, Irma was part of a large family with numerous brothers and sisters. Soon after World War II, she immigrated to the United States, searching for a new life. Through the hard work and sheer determination that soon became a family legacy, Irma learned the language and set about raising three children of her own. Later, she would marry Calvin Crumrine and relocate to Klamath Falls Ore. Fiercely independent and loyal, family always came first with Irma. She had strong opinions and you always knew how she felt about things. Along with being a loving mom, grandmother and great-grandmother, she had a huge garden and raised countless animals on her small farm just south of Klamath Falls.
