Letter from Judith Ziegler Woodard to granddaughter, Anna Woodard, December 2020: Anna, many of your ancestors have loved Jesus. Grandma Inez, Marcella's Mom went to church at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. She was widowed and had to save money. She earned money by cleaning a funeral home in Forest. She bought a house in Kenton. When we moved to Barronw Street she lived 2 or 3 blocks away. She was cheerful and was saved. She was a great help with babies Amy and Bonnie. Even when we moved to the country she helped me. She and I cleaned many quarts of strawberries. When she was 75 she was happy to go with us to the Carolinas to see Pastor and Mrs. Rice and family. It was October. The trees were so pretty!
She lived until age 95. She had taken care of her Mom, Susie Flowers, who died at age 96.
Grandma Inez enjoyed mischievous little Danny. She and I went to yard sales. She loved to go anywhere.
