Attended Marshall College, Peabody Medical School of the University of Nashville,Hospital College of Central University at Louisville. Graduated 1904, MD. Practiced at Mann, Logan County. Moved to Logan Co. 1908. 1910- post-grad course at Univ. Louisville; 1918 completed post-grad course at New York Polyclinic, 1920- New York Post-Graduate School of Medicine. Member Logan County Medical Society, West Virginia State Medical Society, American Medical Association. Member of the Masonic fraternity, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks.
