From examination of Winchester maps prior to 1892, it appears that Amzi Doolittle (Jr.) purchased a house along what is now Route 119, just west of the Evergreen cemetery about 3 houses. It then appears that his (adopted) son Hiram lived in this house until his death. An 1892 map indicates that Mrs. H.[iram] Doolittle [Lucy Hazelton] is living there. (She dies in 1892.)
