Death Notice contributed by Dr. Anthony Troha published in "The Brooklyn Daily Eagle" Monday, September 12, 1949, Page 7, Column 1: "JACKSON--HERBERT H., September 10, 1949, beloved husband of Gertrude H. Jackson. Service at the Fairchild chapel, 951 Atlantic Avenue, Tuesday at 2 p.m. Interment Green-Wood Cemetery."

I have found no record of any children of Herbert and Gertrude. I found no Social Security Death record for Herbert; possibly he had not begun to receive any benefits. It would be interesting to find who Herbert's heirs were.
