    Place of birth Kentucky. Son of unknown. Husband of Nancy F. (Spearman) Taylor (9/28/1837, Kentucky - 9/26/1882, interred Chinn's Chapel Cemetery).

  3.   From his listings in the 1860, 1870, and 1880 censuses, I find these 15 children:
    Zackarius (or Zachary), Lizzie Alice, Charles W., Jay Bird, Robert, Newton, Emma Jane, Harvey Willis, Uncle Joe, Mary Ida and Susan Ada (twins), Charley, Ben, Zanard, and Sally. Nancy died in 1882, so can't be sure if any children were born between the 1880 census and Sep 1882.
  4.   Mary Ida Taylor, Charlie Taylor, and Jay Bird's daughter are also buried at Chinns Chapel Cemetery.
