Henry Stokes, OBE (1917), FRCSI (Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland), late RAMC (Royal Army Medical Corps), served in WW1, Pres RCSI, Surg Meath Hosp, was born 11jan1879, educated at Trin Coll Dublin (MS 1903), married 11sep1911, Kathleen Elizabeth FRANKS (d. 11jun1956), 3rd daughter of Sir John Hamilton Franks, CB (Companion, Order of the Bath), JP, of Dublin (see Burke's Irish family records), and died jul1967 (Burke's).
