Elizabeth Stokes was born 25jun1867, married 27mar1890, Charles Henry Crookshank, son of Robert Crookshank, of Glenmanus House, Portrush, and died 1jan1945, leaving 4 sons and 3 daughters. Dublin was born 11apr1859 at Dublin, educated at The Academy, Coleraine, Co. derry, Tettenhall College, Co. Stafford, Trin. Coll. Dublin, BA 1879, Barrister-at-law 1883. Legal advisor to the Estates Commissioners, Irish Land Commission. He married 17mar1890 at St. Stephens, Dublin, Elizabeth Henrietta, daughter of Henry Stokes of Howth, formerly Indian Civil Service, Madras (vis). From Thom's Irish Almanac & Official Directory: CROOKSHANK~Charles H.~Dun Griffan road; esq., Dun Griffan ~1898 and 1904. In 1911 the Crookshank family, all born in Dublin city and members of the Church of Ireland lived at 22 Dundrum, Dublin, a house owned by Charles with 15 rooms; Charles Henry (b. 1859, civil servant, married 20 years, had 8 children, 7 still living), Henry (1893), Olivia Henrietta Agnes (1898), Mary Rebecca (1899), Janet Margaret (1900), William Stokes (1902) and 3 servants (census).
