HENRY W. SMITH DIES FRIDAY-

Henry W. Smith, route 2 Elwood, died Friday evening at St. John's hospital, Anderson. He had been in failing health the past few months. Born in Madison county, he was the son of Jesse and Rachel Smith. he was a lifelong resident of Madison county and had lived at his present home more than fifty years.

Survivors include: the widow, the former Miss Cora Waymire; two daughters, Miss Edna Smith at home; Mrs. Olive Bradburn of near Elwood; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren and sister, Mrs. Rosa Etchison of Elwood. The body is at the George Harper funeral home in Frankton, where friends may call after 1 o'clock Sunday. Funeral arrangements have not been completed. Elwood Call Leader, 14 April 1956
