The Anderson Herald- Aroma Funeral for Cora Smith- Mrs. Cora C. Smith, 79, Rt. 2, Elwood, died at Mercy Hospital at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday following a week's illness of a stroke. The body was taken to the Copher and Fesler funeral home where friends may call at any time. Rites will be held at the Aroma Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in the Aroma Cemetery. The body will be taken to the church at noon Saturday. Surviving are two daughters, Miss Edna F. Smith, at home, and Mrs. Olive Bradburn, Rt.2, Elwood; and a sister, Mrs. Willard Etchison, Springport. Mrs. Smith was born in Madison County on Nov. 6, 1878, a daughter of John and Mary Ellen Waymire, and married Henry W. Smith Jan. 5, 1896. He died on April 13, 1956.
