Henry M. Sieg, son of George and Jerusha (Conkling) Sieg was born on 12 October 1842 in Ohio. In March, 1878, he married Mary Ellen "Molly" Barry in Redwood City, California. Molly was born ca. 1862 in California. In 1880 they were living in San Benito County, California. In the early 1880’s Henry and Molly divorced and Henry sued for custody of his son, In 1900 he was living with his son in San Francisco. The name is spelled variably as Sieg and Sieg. Henry died on 23 January 1929 and is buried at Oak Hill Cemetery in San Jose, California.
