  5. when the son died, the family rode in the covered wagon with the coffinfrom their home, southeast of Wolfsville, to the chestnut church burialground which was about three miles southeast of Garfield. It was acustom then, for friends and relatives to take the body to thegraveyard. -told by his sister, Mary Jane Shuff Pryor who was 11 yearsold at the time. This was a dramatic experience for the Shuff children.His sister Jane, never forgot it and often related to sad story to herchildren. Henry was the first person buried at this cemetery.
