   Lois's mother said he died in a thunderstorm when hit by lightning, while riding his horse in his duties as overseer of a plantation. His grave does not show today in the Patterson cemetery, but it may have been moved when the boundaries of the cemetery were moved.

FUSELIER, a Planter with real estate worth $150,000. The household between is another Overseer.]
