The explan ation could be that first Nancy (1814) died young and tha t the name was recycled for 2nd Nancy (1818). But since bot h have the same day and month I believe that the year discr epancy is simply a typo. Most of this information came fro m Ron`s 1st cousin, also descended from Nancy Ann. I have n ever confirmed it. I`m still bogged down in eastern Kentuck y with his paternal line. They crossed from Wise County, V A to Morgan-Carter-Elliott Co, KY and have been there for 1 50 yrs intermarrying, each brother naming his children fo r his brothers. There must have been a John or Henry or Ric hard or Merida or James or Harve, etc Gillum born every yea r in that county to one of the John or Henry or Richard o r Merica or James or Harve, etc Gillums.
