!BIRTH-MARRIAGE-DEATH: Research letter from Estella Hale Altland (deceased) ; in possession of Robert E. Givens; Clovis, CA. CENSUS: 1880 - In Heidelberg Twp., York, PA with his wife and daughter Daisey. Source Notation: SD 4, ED 13, page 59.

             1900 - Viewed at Ancestry.com in Jackson Twp., York, PA - SD 229, ED 157, Sheet 5a, Ancestry Image 9 of 29.  They stated that they had been married 22 years.  Lucinda reported that she was the mother of 9 children and 1 was living.  In the home were Henry 39 PA and Lucinda 38 PA.  NOTE:  They both reported being two years younger than they really were.
             1910 - In Spring Grove, York, PA - SD 15, ED 99, Sheet 11b/12a, Ancestry Image 22 & 23 of 24.  They stated that they had been married 31 years.  Lucinda reported that she was the mother of 1 child and the child was living.  In the home were Henry and his wife, Lucinda.

BIBLE: Mary Hale Family Bible; copy in possession of Robert E. Givens; Clovis, CA. OBITUARY: States he died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Rhodes, 212 S. Queen St. at 9:10 AM aged 88 with no survivors except neices and nephews. NOTE: The 1900 census states that Henry and Lucinda were the parents of 9 children but only one was living. OCCUPATION: Laborer in 1880 census. His obituary states that he was a retired foreman of the American Chain and Cable Company. RELIGION: Member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. RESIDENCE: Of Spring Grove in 1906.
