HENRY L. CREEL, AGE 87
And a resident of Springhill Community died at 7:15 AM Friday, April 16, 2010 at his residence.
He was a retired employee of Crown Zellerbach. He was a member and deacon at Springhill Baptist. He was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Marines.
Survived by: Wife: Ann Lepine Creel of Franklinton, Son and daughter in law: Phillip and Anna Dell Magee Creel of Franklinton, Daughter and son in law: Phyllis and Bruce M. Thomas of Natchitoches, Daughter in law: Abigail Reynolds Creel of Franklinton, 5 Step children: Larry and Tammy Pizani, Bennie Spears and Carolyn Spears all of Franklinton, Charles and Becky Pizani of Humble, TX, Natalie and Mike Sharp of Enon, 4 Sisters: Chessie Mae Newman, Gladys Ard and, Linda Byrd all of Franklinton, Darnell Phillips of Quest, IL, 10 Grandchildren and 11 Great grandchildren, 9 Step Grandchildren and 4 Step great grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his first wife Mavis Miley Creel, a son Michael Aaron Creel and 3 brothers Carlos Creel, Milferd Creel and Denford Creel.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home from 5 PM until 8 PM Sunday, April 18, 2010 and after 8 AM Monday. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Monday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tommy Morgan, Rev. Tony Hicks and Rev. Devon Byrd. Burial will follow in the Springhill Magee Cemetery.
