Thanksgiving Day Wedding A pleasant home wedding took place in Arenac Thursday, Nov. 28th, 1907, when Henry Bugh of that place was united in marriage to Miss Lou English of Pontiac. The ceremony was performed by Justice O. B. Shaw, an old friend and neighbor of the groom, in the presence of the relatives of the contracting parties. This is Mr. Bugh's second matrimonial venture and his two sons and two daughters supported him during the ceremony. The Bride is a most estimable lady while the groom is a well known Arenac farmer who during his twelve years residence at that place, has become one of our most respected and successful citizens. He has a large circle of friends and the Progress joins them in wishing himself and bride a long life of happiness and proserity. Mr. and Mrs. Bugh will make their future home at their Arenac residence.

Obit: Henry Bugh was born in Tonawanda, N. Y. Sept 11, 1850 and fell asleep at his home in Arenac, Oct. 12, 1924, aged 74 years, one months, and one day. In 1873, he was married to Miss Lucy Cretsinger and to this union were born five children, four of whom are living, two girls and two boys. Forty years ago he moved to Michigan with his family. In 1904 his wife passed away and four years later he united in marriage with Louise English. He leaves his wife, four children and a large circle of relatives and friends. His absence will be keenly felt by all. He was a member of the Standish Oddfellows and Daughters of Rebekah and Arenac Bay Grange 597. The funeral was held at the Arenac Presbyterian church Wednesday afternoon. The funeral service was preached by Elder T. M. Summerville of Alma. He was laid to rest in the Pine River Cemetery by the Oddfellows.
