- 25 Jan 1786 - Henry Black and wife Sarah of Caswell County to Lawrence Vanhook, Sr. of same, for 40 pounds, 12 acres. [Caswell County Deed Book E, page 108].
- 30 Jan 1790 - Deed, Sarah Black of Caswell County to Alexander Wiley of same, for 500 pounds, 290-1/2 acres on Moon's Creek, being tract conveyed from William Haynie to Henry Black, deceased, formerly the husband of Sarah Black, adjoining Samuel Paul.
