Obituary with picture HELEN RETZLAFF Helen A. Rezlaff, 76, of Grand Haven (formerly of West Olive) died Tuesday, June 12, 2001 at North Ottawa Care Center. She was born Jan 31, 1925 to Almond and Lena (Alexander) Yettaw in Charlevoix. She married Howard Retzlaff Nov. 25, 1944 in Denver, Colo. and he preceded her in death Dec. 7, 1991. Mrs. Retzlaff was a lifelong area resident and was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ and the Ruth Circle at church, member of V.F.W. Auxiliary, blood donor since 1954 and collected for the March of Dimes for many years. Survivors include three daughters: Beverly (Jerry) Warner of Spring Lake, Arlene (Bernie) Bennett of Holland and Charyn (Roger) Conant of Phoenix, Ariz.; three sons: Jerry (Nancy) Retzlaff of Katy, Texas, Roger Retzlaff of Grand Haven and Gary (Gloria) Retzlaff of Grand Haven; 18 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Scott, two sisters; Margaret Erickson and Madeline Bosch and four brothers; Leo,Glenn, Pat and Delbert Yettaw. Arrangements are being handled by VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home of Grand Haven. REZLAFF, MRS. HELEN A. Grand Have (formerly West Olive) The funeral service for Mrs. Rtzlaff will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's United Church of Christ with pastor Lydia Meyer officiating. Interment will be in Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may meet the family at 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Grand Haven funeral home and at church one hour prior to the services.
