    5 Feb 1932.

    Mrs. Joseph Herko, of 1040 Albright avenue, died yesterday after an illness. Before taking up her residence in North Scranton eight years ago she was a resident of Bellevue. Besides her husband she leaves the following sons: George, Joseph, John and Michael Herko, the latter former St. Thomas college football player, now a member of the Coast Guard eleven; four daughters, Anna, Helen, Irene, and Mary; one grandchild; a sister, Mrs. Mary Martin; two brothers, Michael Mihaylo of Pittsburgh, and Andrew Mihaylo, of Taylor; also a daughter-in-law, Pauline Herko.
