    Died August 25, 1999
    BEULAH - Helen Jennie Lovendusky, 82, died peacefully Wednesday evening at her home.
    Born Nov. 5, 1916, in Lansing, she was the daughter of Earl and Mable (Penharlow) Helfrich. Early in her life she moved to Old Mission. On Oct. 14, 1942, in Traverse City, she was united in marriage to Orin Lovendusky.
    Helen had lived on their farm in the Platte Lake area of Benzie County all of her married life. She retired from Pet Milk Corp. after 26 years of service. She loved her family and also enjoyed fishing, cooking and the winters she spent in Florida.
    She is survived by three daughters, Betty Jean (Curt) Lentz of Chesaning, Dorothy (John) Bird of Gaylord and Marie (Mike) Adams of Beulah; one brother, John Helfrich of Lansing; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Orin, on June 25, 1998; both parents; sister, Bessie Andrus; and brother, Lyle Helfrich.
    Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at a later date at the Benzonia Township Cemetery.
