Helen Davis (1883-1960) attended the public schools and the University of Utah. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She grew up in the Center Ward [North Redwood Road area in west Salt Lake City], where her father presided as Bishop, and she was active in Sunday School and the Young Ladies Mutual of the Ward. She was also a member of the Salt Lake Stake Sunday School Board and the Stake Primary Board. She served on the General Board of Primary of the Church for 26 years.

After her removal to the [east] bench area [Salt Lake City], she became active in the 33rd Ward of Liberty Stake, which later became Douglas Ward, and held positions in the Sunday School and choir. She was treasurer of the Utah State Kindergarten Association and taught in the Kindergarten Department of the LDS University, as well as in the public schools of Salt Lake City for 36 years until her retirement. She died March 14, 1960, at Salt Lake City, Utah.

Aunt Helen Davis was a school teacher in the Salt Lake City public school system. She taught English and mathematics, and possibly other subjects, at the Uintah Elementary School, located at 15th East and 13th South in Salt Lake City, on the east bench of the City.
