    Hattie E. Weida, Charter Member of Church Unit

    Mrs. Hattie E. (Reimert) Weida, 83, died Tuesday in her New Tripoli R. 1 home.

    She was the widow of George E. Weida who died in 1964.

    Born in New Tripoli, Mrs. Weida was a daughter of the late William and Jane (Follweiler) Reimert.

    The oldest member of the Lutheran congregation of St. Peter's Union Church, Lynnville, she was a charter member and an organizer of its Women's Missionary Society.

    Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Marian Leidich of Catasauqua and Dorothy, wife of Dr. Forrest Moyer of Allentown; three sons, the Rev. Willard Weida of Kutztown, Clarence of Slatington R. 1, and George O. of New Tripoli R. 1; a sister Helen, wife of Mahlon Hamm of Allentown; a brother, Abner Reimert of Allentown, and 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

    Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Peter's Union Church, Lynnville. Calling hours will be 7 - 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Keller Funeral Home, New Tripoli.
