    Mrs. Barbara L. Schaeffer, 79, widow of Charles A. Schaeffer, died yesterday at the home of her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Raymond W. Snyder of New Tripoli.

    Born in New Tripoli, she was a daughter of the late William A. and Jane (Follweiler) Reimert.

    Mrs. Schaeffer was a lifelong resident of Lynn Township. She had resided with the Snyders since her husband died in 1958.

    She was a member of the Lutheran congregation of Ebenezer Untion Church, New Tripoli.

    Surviving are two sons, Alfred, of Metaline Falls, Wash., and Paul of Denville, N.J.; four daughters, Lillian, wife of Raymond W. Snyder, and Anne, wife of William A. Betz, both of New Tripoli; Grace, wife of Edward Rosekrans, New Lebanon, N.Y., and Alma, wife of Herbert Keimig, Clark Summit, Lackawanna County; a brother, Abner Reimert of Allentown; three sisters, Mrs. Myra Snyder and Helen, wife of Mahlon Hamm, both of Allentown, and Mrs. Hattie Weida of New Tripoli, R. 1, and 14 grandchildren.

    Services will be tomorrow at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing.
