When was The World's Fair?) 1910 Census shows Harold living in Spencer, Clay, Iowa. 1920 Census shows him living in Algona, Kossuth, Iowa. He was 16 years old and living with his brother-in-law Frank Stendrone (sp?)--just how they are brothers-in-law is not clear. He spent three years in the Army and was stationed at Fort Logan, Colorado.

Letter written to him 21 Jan 1921 from his dad is addressed to him as My Dear Soldier Boy, and mentions him being stationed at Fort Scott.

Palo Alto Times Newspaper, Palo Alto, CA Articles on 23 June 1926, 24 June 1926, and 29 June 1926 describes publicity stunt with actress Emily Devoe. Article says she was a young chorus girl at the Wilkes Theater. Harold lived at 344 Ellis Street, San Francisco. Article says Harold spent the night in jail for kidnapping, and then she dropped the charges in Police Judge Joseph M. Golden's court.
