    "Hans Schonauer, b. 23 Apr 1644, GH. He married Elisabeth Aebersold (b. 1647), daughter of Jost & Anna (Murer) Aebersold of Grosshöchstetten. Hans and wife were Anabaptists and were exiled from Switzerland in 1711 and were to be sent to Holland. They left the ship bound for Holland at Mannheim, Germany in 1711. Hans was in jail at the 'upper hospital' in Bern 29 Sep 1710. They may have moved to the Jura area of Switzerland."
