Neither the birth date nor the death date given on this page for Hannah are found in the Barbour records for Hartford, or specified in the Descendants of Edward Shepard^S1, or given in Source:Barbour, Lucius Barnes. Families of Early Hartford, Connecticut. Hannah is mentioned in the distribution of her father's estate 4 Sep 1710 which suggests maybe the 1709 death date given for her is questionable, an idea emphatically confirmed by her being mentioned in her husband's will dated 20 Jan 1737/38. However, she is not the Widow Hannah Ensign of Hartford whose inventory is dated 31 Jul 1764 (e.g., see Source:Connecticut Nutmegger (Connecticut Society of Genealogists), p. 39:47). That is Hannah Hopkins who married Thomas Ensign Jr.
